Answer :-

The person who is exerting 55N will move the  box 20N to the right (option B).

Reason :-

  • The total force by the two people in the left side is .. 17 N + 16N  = 33N.
  • So, the net force acting on the box is, 55N - 33N = 20N.
  • The box will move towards the right because greater force is acting there.
