The coordinates of the on a consecutive vertex of a parallelogram are (1,3) (- 1,2) and (2,5) find the coordinate of the fourth vertex

okay let's suppose that A is (1,3) and B is (-1,2) and is C (2,5) and D is (x,y)

for sure D is the fourth vertex

i don't know if you have i studied the vectors or not but anyway

let's say that parallelogram calls ABCD

form parallelogram advantages that every parallel l sides are equally so AB = CD

be careful cuz the direction is very important at vectors

so AB =B-A=(-1-1,2-3)=(-2,-1)

and CD=D-C=(x-2,y-5)

since AB = CD

there for

(-2,-1)=(x-2,y-5)

so -2=x-2

x=0

and -1=y-5

so y=4

now

you have x and y so the forth vertex D is (0,4)
