For reflect over x-axis you need to switch the sign on Y. formula for points like this is (x,y). An example is reflect (2,4) over the x-axis. you just change the sign of y making the answer (2,-4).
For reflect over y-axis you change the sign of X.For example reflect over the y-axis (3,7) all you have to do is change the sign of X which leaves you with the answer of (-3,7).
