The tundra biomes located far below the arctic circle in Canada are due to a misprint because the real life tundra is in the northern part of Canada.

What is the Tundra?

The tundra is a term to refer to a biome on Earth that is characterized by:

  • Has low-growing vegetation
  • Its frozen underground
  • It has little tree vegetation
  • Its soils are covered with mosses and lichens
  • They are swampy

They are located in the northern hemisphere in:

  • The far north of Russia

  • Arctic coast of europe

Based on the above, it can be inferred that the tundra biomes located well below the arctic circle in Canada are due to a misprint because the real life tundra zone is in the northern part of Canada near of the arctic porlar circle.
