where x is the distance
v is the initial velocity, given as 64 ft/s
g is the acceleration due to gravity which is equal to 32 ft/s^2
t is the time
Now you have:
x = 64t - 0.5(32)t^2
Simplify:
x = 64t -16t^2
Rearrange this so the exponent is first:
h(t) = -16t^2 +64t

C) Maximum height was 64 feet. It reached maximum height in 2 seconds and total time in the air was 4 seconds.
